normal up until a few days ago. Then she met Nico on the streets of Florence
and her world will never be the same again. Nico is sexy, Italian, and immortal
- three features that she has never found more alluring in a man. She must now
learn how to balance an exhilarating love affair and vampire politics at their
worst. There's also a Parisian vampire that wants to claim her and she has to
receive a mark in order to keep her safe from the troubles that exist.
Meanwhile, she finds it difficult being the only mortal one in this new world
of hers.

Shannon Bell grew up in Florida and has always dreamed about
vampires - and still secretly hopes they exist. She is married to someone who
tolerates her crazy story-telling about Romania and has a daughter she hopes
will have the same enthusiasm for vampires when she grows up that her mommy
does.
Shannon has a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the
University of Central Florida as well as an online degree in vampirology and
lycanthropy. She is a full-time writer and currently hard at work on her next
novel.
