Book Review: Suzy Spitfire Kills Everybody by Joe Canzano

Suzy Spitfire Kills Everybody
By Joe Canzano
Genre: Science Fiction

When outlaw Suzy Spitfire discovers her father was murdered after creating a super-duper artificial intelligence, she races across the solar system in search of the brain he built—but it’s a rough ride, and she’s soon forced to tangle with pirates, predators, and her father’s killer—as well as a man she thinks she can love.

Suzy Spitfire Kills Everybody is a smash-bang sci-fi adventure filled with action, intrigue, and a dose of dark humor.

My Review

Brace yourselves, I am about to fangirl out. Suzy Spitfire Kills Everybody is the third book I have read from author, Joe Canzano and it is easily my favorite.

I loved Suzy right away, and Joe had me laughing within the first four pages. That is the thing with Joe's humor, it doesn't dumb-down the characters, it makes you love them more. This book has just enough sci-fi for those who may not be science fiction fans without being overwhelming. I am not a huge sci-fi fan, but this book has so much action, and the characters are extremely well-developed, that it doesn't matter. There is humor, a little romance, and a lot of adventure. Joe's growth as a writer is evident in this book.

Joe Canzano is insanely talented. He knows how to balance the silly and serious. As quick as you'll be laughing, your heart strings will be pulling, too. You need to read this book if you enjoy a strong female character, smarts, an in-depth plot, and action. FIVE STARS ALL DAY LONG.
