2012 Book Challenge

Reading has been one of my favorite things to do since I was a young child. I find comfort in reading and it is how I spend the small amount of free time that I have as a busy mom. My goal for 2012 is to read 50 books. I am currently reading my 14th book and I am super close to finishing it.

Book #14 is The Night Eternal by Guillermo Del Toro & Chuck Hogan

It's been a really long time since I have set a reading goal for myself. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I've ever had one. This means I either failed miserably or I've never set a book goal.

Here is the list of books that I have read so far this year:

1 - Recollections of Virginia Woolf by Her Contemporaries by Joan Russell Noble
2 - Mysterious Spirit: The Bell Witch of Tennessee by Charles B. Bell
3 - Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
4 - The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5 - Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
6 - Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
7 - Dearly Devoted Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
8 - The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro & Chuck Hogan
9 - Dexter in the Dark by Jeff Lindsay
10 - Dexter By Design by Jeff Lindsay
11 - The Fall by Guillermo Del Toro & Chuck Hogan
12 - Double Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
13 - The Help by Kathryn Stockett

I have a profile at goodreads.com where I keep track of the books I have read, what I am currently reading, and books I plan to read. I like how I can organize my books, see what my friends are reading, read book reviews, follow authors, and join a book club.

If you love to read then you need to check out goodreads. You'll most likely get hooked, set up a profile, and start using some of the awesome features the website offers!

What did you think about the Bell Witch? Interesting stuff, isn't it?

Yes, it really is! When we were driving through TN on our way to WA, we actually stopped at the Bell Witch Cave. We did the cave tour & it was pretty creepy! I am glad I read the book AFTER I went in the cave, ha!
