Your 2012 Reading Challenge Goal
Yesterday, I finished reading my 50th book of 2012. I haven't set any kind of reading goal for myself since I was a kid, so this is pretty exciting. I chose to read 50 books because it seemed like a realistic amount that I could comfortably take on without rushing through them.
BONUS: I also took the entire month of November off from reading to focus on NaNoWriMo.

Did you set any reading goals for 2012?

Wow! 50 books in a year! I just started my first book yesterday! I haven't read much lately but maybe I need to make a plan for 2013!
I set my reading goal at 52 (one per week) in hopes of encouraging myself to read less graphic novels and more lengthy, wordy books. I also did a reading challenge with a friend to encourage me to read across genres I usually ignore.
I exceeded my goal significantly, but I didn't hit the genre challenge. However, I didn't crap out and read short graphic novels just to hit a goal. So, I'm proud of myself.
